Over 21 years ago, I was a confused teenager who felt directionless as I attempted to navigate life and understand the challenges I had experienced. Then, God sent my mother and I to The Potter’s House of Dallas, and it instantly became a place where I could pursue passion and discover destiny. I gained an extended family, impactful mentors, and relationships that have sustained me for decades.

Five years ago, when I joined the pastoral staff as Pastor of Young Adults and E-church, it was a humbling and full-circle moment for me. God, in His infinite wisdom and grace, allowed me the privilege to return, serve, and say “thank you” to the pastor and church that has always meant the world to me. My family and I are so grateful for this experience, which we know will carry us into our next faith-filled season.

About a year ago, the Lord impressed upon my heart a true burden to serve the Body of Christ at large in a different capacity. As Crystal and I prayed through those feelings for several months, we felt that the Lord confirmed in a few different ways, that being an Evangelist in 2019 was His will for us. So, in July 2018 I sat with Bishop and shared with him that we believed God was leading to the office of an Evangelist.

Bishop’s love and support over the last 6 months of us preparing for this transition has been such a blessing. We are humbled, happy, and honored that he will continue to cover us in our ministerial endeavors. And of course, The Potter’s House will remain our church home.

In the next season, we believe God has given me a very specific assignment, in the role of an evangelist, a coach, and a consultant.  God has also placed a tremendous burden in our hearts for the next generation of church leadership. As we prayed over this assignment, three words were released: Revive, Relieve, and Restore. Revive the People, Relieve the Pastor, and Restore the Passion through the office of the Evangelist. My entire family and I are so excited to step into this new calling and can’t wait to serve Jesus’s Bride.

To those that take time out to read this, we greatly appreciate your kind words, support, and encouragement, and most importantly, your prayers. We look forward to seeing God’s will be fully accomplished as He uses our family for His Glory.
